Secondary Schools (PP4)
In this resource, we demonstrate how the designs from Poster Pack 4 can be used in a variety of courses in secondary schools. These posters were intentionally matched with curriculum expectations from a selection of courses in each secondary grade [9-12].
This resource demonstrates how Poster Pack 4 can be used to generate interest through ‘Minds’ on’ activities which directly address curriculum expectations.
We intentionally build on learner strengths and knowledge by recognizing that students engage in increasingly complex metacognitive thought through their secondary school journey. As a result, there are a variety of issues addressed in these suggested introductions to curriculum expectations, with increasing complexity as students progress from grade 9 through 12.
