Microaggressions

Welcome and thank you for engaging in this learning journey on Microaggressions. We are Letitia Coutu and Jasmine Mann, educators working in a diverse board in Ontario.

We developed this course on microaggressions to help other educators consider diverse perspectives and understand the impact of our words and actions on others in the field of education.

Course Lessons

Letitia Coutu

Letitia Coutu has been an educator in Southern Ontario for over two decades. She has had a wide variety of both classroom and support roles across the elementary panel, including her current position as an elementary Vice-Principal. Regardless of position she holds, Letitia believes in student centered education where modes of teaching support the unique intersectionality of each learner.

Jasmine Mann

Jasmine Mann has been an educator in Ontario for over 20 years. She has had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles in K to 8 education. Jasmine works to empower student voice with a focus on building relationships to center student experiences in schools.
